"I decided to head west (and even cross over the border!) for a midweek event and enjoy the light evenings. The road race had a fell run feel to it with post race plates of sandwiches laid on plus generous prize giving to the runners. This event is set up by the Rochdale Harriers (a friendly and well organised bunch) and the race scene seems to be thriving over in Lancashire too. I aim to return to this neck of the woods to explore more races!
