"Last Saturday morning Jan and I completed the third race of the 2010 Airedale Triple Trail Challenge up in Alwoodley. We had a great morning up there on a very tough and technical course, though it was warm, a steady wind, dry and the good weather held.
Jan backed up well 6 days after her Leeds Half Marathon and increased her off road experience.
I managed to hold 7th spot after a great battle with the overall +40 age group series winner Shaun Wilkinson of Keighley & Craven. It was a really hard race to complete and it was great to claim an age group victory and get a top ten spot.
Both Jan and myself would encourage all Hyde Park Harriers to consider one or all of these races in the coming years.
