Chris Jones reports:
Off to Baildon for the second run in a day for Chris and Liz – and for Liz’s first attempt at a (supposedly easy) fell run. Hot, hilly, scenic and very friendly – fewer than 30 runners, but a great atmosphere as part of Baildon Carnival. It would be a good one to do as a club, as an introduction to fell running.
parkrun regular Marisol Carerra was first lady – Chris chased her home and Liz tootled in two from the back with Bradford parkrunner Anastasia Lincoln. Prizes for all including humongous bar of chocolate for Liz, and Saucony technical T-shirt for Chris. Unfortunately it turned out to be a women’s cut, so Liz ended up rather well-off.

Well done Chris and Liz. Not convinced me to take up fellrunning just yet though, but maybe when I finish my book!
