Never let it be said that Liz Jones is not supportive of her husband. Following his example at Washburn, she managed to get lost, thus ensuring that team Dizzy Lizzies were last in the Golden Acre Park relay.
Not so for the rest of the HPH contingent. Top turnout for us, with nine teams in total, plus supporters a-plenty. Excellent performances all round, but special mention must go to Sam Dooley and Paul Sanderson, who organised, cajoled, encouraged and shoved us into the start pen at the right time, and recorded our times as we came in. Really nice to see juniors Ellie Dooley and Bex Hayne back in HPH vests and racing with the rest of the club.
