Sam Dooley reports:
Same course as the first race last month, but sunnier conditions, and a course slightly softer in places than last time. This time round Kara King found it harder going but her 46th place and just missed out on being the fourth counter for her school. The school came fourth place out of the 22 teams in the under 11's.
In the under 15 girls Ellie Dooley improved on last month's placing by finishing in 4th place, again using her strong finish to move herself up a place during the last 200m of the 3.6km race.
Next up is the trials for the Leeds Schools team on 11 December 2010.
