Richard Quinn reports:
I did two races recently. The Lake Vyrnwy Half wasn't chipped but my Garmin tells me I did it in 1 hour, 39 and 37 seconds. I was 256 out of 1205 runners on a lovely sunny day in Wales. Because of the lack of a chip, they have me as doing 1 hour 40 mins, 13 seconds... I have the garmin stuff I can send you to prove that wrong :-)
The other one was Rombald's Romp, 7 and a bit miles on Ilkley Moor. Fantastic race with a bottle of beer for ever finisher (Rombalds Refresher). I was 56 of 74 in 1 hour, 7 mins and 10 seconds.
