PECO Cross Country League (2010-11) 19/12/10 Middleton Park Race 2 (c/o Rothwell Harriers)

Another good turnout from HPH running at a new venue for must of us, including the juniors. The men finished 4^th in the Premier League (and 9^th out of 14 in the Vets League) The chaps are 6th/7 after 2 rounds on 10 points, level with Kirkstall Harriers, who are ahead on ‘countback’. Plenty to play for entering into the middle race of the season at Bramley Park this weekend.

The women finished 3rd/10 in the First Division (13th /17 in the Vets League), and are in a very promising 3rd position after two rounds. The men are 8 th and Ladies 13 th in the Vets after 2 rounds.

A really big well done to all the members who gained excellent experience in cold, snowy and icy conditions. Thanks to Rothwell for hosting a difficult event due to the weather. This event could easily have been postponed and was a major reason for the shortening of the original race route.
