Chris Jones reports:
This was a category BS fell race between Littleborough and Todmorden. 4 miles with 800 foot climb, so not far but pretty steep. We set off in rain and the course was soggy, partly on firm track and partly on moorland with rocky outcrops. Should have known that the first half was going to be a slog in that the starting point was called the Summit Inn and we were running upwards from there. The halfway point was another pub The White House and you had to touch the wall before turning for the return leg. Bombing down the hill was fun on the track, but not over the moorland. Rained all the way and didn’t manage a “sherbet” in either pub.
On the whole quite a long drive for a short run.

76 runners completed the race. They hid the results as well; never did find out who organised the run, but it’s been going for years.
