Just a great experience! Incredible views across these eastern Cumbrian hills. Great names to pass on the map such as; Arant Haw, Castley Knotts, Linghaw, Black Force, Docker Knott, Middle Tongue, Sickers Fell, Hook, The Calf, Winder… Very difficult routes and surfaces to tackle, however, extremely favourable weather conditions and perfect visibility eased the challenge.
I would like to thank Valley Strider Malcolm Coles for inviting me to this race, who incidentally, runs stronger the longer the distance!
Sounds like a tough, but beautiful race to do Dave. Well done!
