Russell Gardham is currently running 5 marathons in 5 days. Helen Williams has been in touch with him and reports:
Saturday morning: "He text me today to say he's run two (51.62 miles in total) in 7hrs and 59mins. He came 4th yesterday (his first) and was 3rd today. So he's doing really, really well."
Saturday evening: "The Russinator (as I'm now going to call him) what a machine. He ran 29.22 miles in 4hrs 29mins and came second which is fab and in all of this rain, he said it was pouring down out there."
Monday afternoon:
"Last update... The Russinator has completed his amazing feat of 5 marathons in five days running a total of 133 miles in 20hrs & 17mins and getting 3rd overall. I can't wait to hear how it was, we must get him to write a race report. He deserves a well earned rest now for a few years after all of the running he's done this year!"
