There was a school sports day theme with the three legged race (won by Dave and Rick), egg and spoon race (won by Sarah), sack race, tug of war (ouch from the burns from the rope used). The highlight of the afternoon was the Drag Race. Rick had an outfit pulled together from various female members of the run club and he was away along with the other drags.
At the official presentation the club picked up a lovely boxed silver plate to celebrate the men’s 2nd place promotion to the premier division for next season starting this November. Dave McGuire picked up a memento for first +40 over the 5 race series.
