At run club tonight, I asked people if anyone who isn't running the race could possibly marshall. This is the information from the Leeds Half website:
Some of the volunteer opportunities are:
Drink Station Volunteers: Giving out drinks to runners as they pass the station.
Sponge Volunteers: Giving out sponges to runners as they pass.
Directions Volunteers: Pointing runners in the right direction.
Millennium Square Volunteers: Help handing out goodie bags, supporting the event staff, crowd control, Marathon set-up and Marathon take-down.

Please be aware this could involve an early start, some volunteers are required from 7.30 am.
