In a break from the usual running races a few members of the club were in action this weekend in the world of swim bike run...
Well done to Alison Boyle who competed in Saturday in the Blenheim Sprint Trialthon (750m swm, 20k bike, 5k run) finishing in the fantastic time of 1 hour 35 minutes and 21 seconds. http://www.thelondontriathlon.com/BThome.html
Over in Wales Tom Williams and Helen Turton were also in action covering the distances of 2k swim, 70k bike and 20k run in 4:07:00 and 4:43:35 respectively. H was particularly unlucky as prizes went down to 6th lady and following a brief stop to answer the call of nature at mile 11 on the run she finished 7th by one minute and six seconds!!

This week should see a return to running with the Hyde Park 5k race on Wednesday evening (starts at 7.30 - be there early). Entries will be available on the night and with Top Ten Tony back in form VARR could do well ;)
