Very well done to Debra Brown and Helen Bailey who ran the Otley 10 mile race on Wednesday 13th June, 7pm. It's a very tough course (up & down) and for much of the race it was pouring with rain making conditions very difficult with slippery roads, lots of spray and plenty of puddle dodging going on! They both finished in 1:43 and are unfortunately still witing for their race t-shirts as there weren't enough to go round.
The hill training has clearly paid off, great results, and extremely satisfying to pass at least 6 people on the hills as they were at the back of the field before the hills commenced. Debs would appreciate some more company for next year (it's local for most of us) as by the look on Helen's face near the top of the second hilly section, she may not be up for that one again!
