Superbly well organized 6 mile trail race which took place in clear weather but the surfaces were slippery. This is a highly popular event as voted by the public in one of the national runners magazines in recent years due to the excellent stewarding, commentary, brass band to start the race and a pianist playing in the woods on both laps of the race. Ron Hill was there to present some lovely prizes at the end too.
All the team really enjoyed the occasion (perhaps less so the uphill grueling finish) but we all stuck together to cheer everyone home. A big thanks to Janet who came along to enthusiastically cheer everyone on.
