A thoroughly enjoyable evening out, hosted by Stainland Lions Running Club. A really challenging course with a mix of ascents, descents and level running through muddied woods, fields, trail, cobbles and road. Chris kindly drove us down. We both ran as ‘guests’ as we as a club are yet to sign up. Something we will put in place for next year’s series – it’s too good an event to not be involved in. Particularly regards the prize ceremony and generous offerings of recovery foods and drink and an excellent camaraderie.
