A Thursday night race for several HPH members. Kay reports:
Running is as easy as A B C, except when the ABC is Apperley Bridge Canter
Don't know why but I had the impression this evening race was flat! But no there was definitely some up hills rewarded by some brill down hill dash! It was also described as multi terrain which it certainly was - a little road, grass fields, dirty track, cobbled type path, rocky canal path even a little mud! brilliant friendly marshals, summer evening sun and you could hear the cheering at the finish line from two miles out!
A great race made all the better by bumping in (not literally) to fellow Hyde Park Team mates, Helen, Rona, Jaz, Tess and for the boys Dave, Chris, and Ralph. Sorry if i have missed anyone!
Recommend this one to fans of off road!
Dave McGuire 37:53 16th
Chris Jones 45:52 96th
Helen Williams 46:49 119th
Ralph Kidner 48:50 153rd

Kay Fawcett 1:05:40 357th
Jaz Bangerh 1:07:29 364th
