You may have noticed that the title of the site has changed from Virgin Active Road Runners to Hyde Park Harriers. We have had our official name change through from UK Athletics.
This is the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. After 9 years of meeting at Virgin Active, the majority of affiliated members voted to move to a new base - The Edge which is Leeds University's new sports centre. The vote was 21 for and 8 against a move.
The first training night at the new base will be 4th May at 7pm. We really hope that everyone will come and try out the new base. We would like to remind you that we will review how the move has gone in a few months time, but if you have any issues in the meantime, get in touch and we will see what we can do to help.
